Bike evolution
We often find ourselves in the position where the bike we have is a good bike but there are a few things that has become an irritation to the point where one loose motivation to ride, alternatively we have accumulated a few injuries that just makes riding uncomfortable. The result is we loose interest and stop cycling where we end up missing the fitness we had as well as the joy of riding.
We offer a fresh look at your bike providing solutions to address the problem areas and giving your bike a revamp. You can upgrade the gear ration offering you more range or replace your standard wheels with something more exciting. Changing your positioning on a bike can drastically improve your riding experience and when you look at our suspension solutions your bike will suddenly be just what you wanted.
We have been installing the Kinekt seat post and head stem on all types of bikes. The combination provides the user with riding comfort and performance on rough terrain eliminating continuous jarring that causes muscle fatigue and joint pain. Even on road bikes this can be a game changes. Recently voted as the best solutions on the market we can testify of it’s value and benefits. Both products can be set up for different weight requirements and is fully serviceable, something we are geared up to do.
We also provide specialized saddles, designed to provide support on the bone structure of our bodies and not on the soft tissue. The Selle SMP range offers hand-made Italian products with a unique ergonomic design that will address most problems relating to seating discomfort.
Building Fat bikes
At the Pedal Shed we have been building Fat Bikes for over 5 years. Fat bikes introduced us to off road exploration of the Outback and other parts of Australia like no other bike, because it will go where no other bike can go. Getting a good Fat bike had become a real problem so we established a working relationship with Borealis Fat Bikes in Colorado Springs. These bikes are high-end with all the top specked products but the real difference is in the frame. The power transfer is extremely efficient making this bike one of the lightest bikes in the Country. The history of their bikes speaks for it self sponsoring the Worlds Fat Bike competition annually as well as several extreme exploration journeys. We are proud to bring such a brand to Australia and make a new home for Borealis Fat Bikes. Have a look at www.fatbike.com and if your are interested send us via email.
